prompt: ....the forest seemed alive as...

Boom the sound of thunder fills my ears. I scurry through the old forest without looking back. I wip round as I sense someone watching me. Worms move beneath my feet. I scream I want to get out of this place. The forest seemed alive as though the trees could move and then talk to each other. I kept going and pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind. I reached the end of the forest and sniffed in the sweet essence of spring. I lay on the cool grass and looked at the bright blue sky, i closed my eyes and listened to the soft moaning of the wind.

...but it was far too hot…

Even though it was winter today was the hottest day we have had this year it was over forty degrees. All the fans in our house were going but it was far too hot to do anything all the shops had been closed this morning, people were inside with all the windows and doors open with fans going at the highest they could go people with cold lemonade mocked us as we watch them cool down. The heat bursts through the atmosphere and we melt as the rays hit us. This is the end of the hottest day.

100 word challenge

An ambulance speeds down the street followed by three police cars and two fire engines they race to the giant egg that has fallen out of the sky. Already at the scene are three work men one is on top of the strange egg the other two are on the ground inspecting the yolk. The magnificent egg sits still waiting and wondering if it could ever begin again. The egg fell from heaven it was going to be a golden goose but its mother had accidentally kicked it off it was a horrid day as she watch the egg die.

The cold frost nipped at my nose as i walked speedily to my friends house. When I arrived the house was locked it was black and mysterious I went and looked through the old creaky windows, the wind howled through the house and I started running I didn't like this at all. I heard a tree branch snap and i wiped round shivering suddenly the street came awake with lights and colours it was so beautiful i gasped as i saw my friend walk out of a gateway behind me. i ran and gave my her a hug.
