100 word net

Prompt: Pepper    Crocodile    Orange    Forgot    Soft

Gleaming eyes stare at me, pepper and orange start to growl. The moaning wind slams the front door tightly shut. A fishy breath makes the hair on my back stand up. I sit up. sweat pours from my face. I turn round and feel a soft scaly skin rubbing against the tips of my fingers. I open my mouth to scream but no sound comes out. I turn to switch the light on but I forgot where the switch was. I shake with fear. I turn my head to the front they are still staring at me there beady eyes entwined with mine. A crocodile stares at me licking its chops. is this how it ends?

Tthe caged tiger

What was once a mighty beast, which walked with pride and power, now begged from food by the thing that put him there, humans. He hated them they took everything away his family and friends they were so selfish and uncaring. He wanted so badly to be free and feel the wind beneath his fur and hear the rustling of the leaves that was a good time. He moped around and didn’t care he sat there all day and night year after year watching people laugh and point at him. He was imprisoned for life and no one could do anything. A pool of water lapped at the front of this bared prison. Over dated meat sat in lumps all around the enclosure. It made him dizzy and confused. His wet tongue flopped out of his mouth. His nose was good at sniffing anymore. His coat was too polished, he didn’t like it this way. He liked to feel the hard mud stiffing in his dirty coat but not anymore. Nothing was the same as it once was.

block 1 evaluation

this block I have started one piece of writing and finished my writing on a tiger. I have also finished my 100 word challenge. I have been down in a writing group.

My tiger writing:

A lean body stands motionless watching and waiting. A slow chuffing sound comes from the belly of the beast. Her ears prick back listening to the roaring sound of the jungle, suddenly everything is quiet. Her black and orange stripes move up and down and she crouches into the low grass camouflaging herself from passing predators. Her long silky whiskers twitch with frustration. Her hart pounds, then her predator instinct kicks in. She races through the jungle her large retractable claws swiping at trees. She stops, she feels the world waiting for her she can’t do it. She knows that if she doesn’t she will die. She never thought that killing could be so hard. Her canine teeth hang out thirsty for the taste of blood. She is the Queen. She hunts to survive she is a predator, she is a killer, she is savage.

100 word chellenge

Prompt: But it is yellow

Eyes pierced my back watching and waiting ready to hold me and never let go. As I walk along the moonlit shore, the smell of blood lingers in the cool night air. I see a figure out of the corner of my eye, I can’t quite see who it is. I can taste the bitterness of the sand beneath my feet. I turn around slowly but it is yellow the creature standing there so majestic and proud. I open my mouth to scream but no sound comes out. I am frozen with fright. I think is this how it ends.
